1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ChainEye.io ("Service", "Platform", "we", "our"), operated as a blockchain security intelligence platform, you ("User", "you", "your") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement"). If you do not agree to all terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and ChainEye.io. Your continued use of the Service represents ongoing acceptance of these Terms and any amendments.

2. Service Description

ChainEye.io is a blockchain wallet security analysis platform providing real-time risk assessment and validation services for cryptocurrency wallet addresses.

2.1 Core Services

  • Blockchain Support: ERC20 (Ethereum Network) and TRC20 (Tron Network) wallet address analysis
  • Security Scoring: Algorithmic risk assessment on a 0-100 scale using 11 distinct validation rules
  • Risk Classification: Tiered risk categorization (Critical, High, Medium, Low, Very Low)
  • On-Chain Analysis: Transaction history examination, wallet age verification, and activity pattern recognition
  • Real-Time Validation: Address format verification, checksum validation, and dust attack detection
  • Telegram Integration: Secure bot interface for wallet submission and result delivery
  • API Access: RESTful API for programmatic integration (premium tiers)

2.2 Analysis Methodology

Our proprietary scoring algorithm evaluates wallet addresses using the following criteria:

  • Wallet age and creation timestamp
  • Transaction frequency and volume patterns
  • Inactivity periods and dormancy detection
  • Transaction failure ratios and error rates
  • Dust attack presence and anomaly detection
  • Balance verification and empty wallet flagging
  • Token transfer patterns and concentration metrics
  • Internal transaction analysis (smart contract interactions)
  • Gas usage patterns and optimization indicators
  • Network-specific risk factors
  • Historical security incident correlation

2.3 Data Sources

We aggregate blockchain data from verified public sources including:

  • Etherscan API - Ethereum blockchain explorer and analytics platform
  • TronScan API - Tron blockchain explorer and data aggregator
  • Public blockchain nodes and distributed ledger data
  • Community-contributed threat intelligence (when available)

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To access the Service, you must:

  • Create an account through our official Telegram bot (@chaineyeio_bot)
  • Provide a valid Telegram user ID for authentication
  • Provide a valid email address for service notifications
  • Comply with Telegram's Terms of Service
  • Be at least 18 years of age or have legal guardian consent
  • Not be located in a jurisdiction where cryptocurrency services are prohibited

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your Telegram account credentials
  • All activities conducted through your account
  • Immediately notifying us of unauthorized access or security breaches
  • Using strong security practices when accessing the Service

3.3 Account Restrictions

You may only create one account per Telegram user. Multiple accounts or attempts to circumvent usage limits may result in permanent service suspension.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing Structure

  • Free Trial: 7 days, 10 wallet validations, no credit card required
  • Monthly Subscription: $9.99 USD/month, unlimited wallet validations, cancel anytime
  • Enterprise Plans: Custom pricing for high-volume API access (contact sales@chaineye.io)

4.2 Payment Processing

  • All payments processed securely through Stripe, Inc.
  • Accepted payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal date
  • Cryptocurrency payments: Coming soon (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC)
  • All prices in USD; currency conversion fees may apply

4.3 Billing Cycle

  • Monthly subscriptions: Billed on the same day each month at $9.99 USD
  • Pro-rated refunds not available for partial months (see Refund Policy)
  • Failed payments result in immediate service suspension
  • Grace period: 7 days to update payment information before account termination

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days advance notice via email and Telegram notification. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at current rates for their current billing cycle.

5. Free Trial Terms

Free trial terms:

  • Duration: 7 calendar days from activation
  • Limitations: 10 total wallet validations, basic features only
  • Eligibility: One trial per Telegram user ID (strictly enforced)
  • No Payment Required: Trial does not auto-convert to paid subscription
  • Trial Abuse: Creating multiple accounts for additional trials violates these Terms and results in permanent ban

6. Acceptable Use Policy

6.1 Prohibited Activities

You expressly agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal financial activities
  • Validate wallet addresses for purposes of fraud, scams, or cryptocurrency theft
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our proprietary scoring algorithms
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to abuse the Service (outside of authorized API usage)
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercialize Service results without explicit written permission
  • Submit false, misleading, or fabricated wallet addresses to manipulate results
  • Interfere with Service operation, including DDoS attacks or vulnerability exploitation
  • Access other users' data or attempt to compromise system security
  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or sanctions (including OFAC, FinCEN requirements)
  • Use the Service to facilitate Ponzi schemes, pump-and-dump operations, or rug pulls

6.2 Compliance Obligations

You agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable cryptocurrency regulations in your jurisdiction
  • Conduct your own due diligence beyond our risk assessments
  • Not rely solely on our scores for investment or financial decisions
  • Report any security vulnerabilities to security@chaineye.io immediately

7. Service Limitations and Disclaimers

7.1 No Guarantees

IMPORTANT: ChainEye.io provides risk assessment tools, NOT financial advice or investment recommendations. We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Accuracy: Security scores are probabilistic estimates based on available data
  • Completeness: Blockchain data may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable
  • Real-Time Updates: Scores reflect historical data and may not capture real-time threats
  • Future Behavior: Past wallet activity does not predict future safety or legitimacy
  • Third-Party Data: We rely on Etherscan and TronScan APIs, which may have errors or downtime

7.2 Technical Limitations

  • API Rate Limits: Etherscan and TronScan impose rate limits; excessive requests may delay results
  • Network Congestion: Blockchain network issues may impact data availability
  • Service Uptime: Target 99% uptime; no SLA guarantee for free/basic tiers
  • Data Retention: Analysis results automatically deleted after 7 days (see Privacy Policy)
  • Chain Coverage: Currently limited to Ethereum (ERC20) and Tron (TRC20); other chains coming soon

7.3 Not a Substitute for Due Diligence

Our Service is a risk assessment tool, not a comprehensive security audit. You must:

  • Conduct independent research before any cryptocurrency transaction
  • Verify wallet addresses through multiple sources
  • Consult financial and legal professionals for investment decisions
  • Never send cryptocurrency to unverified or suspicious addresses

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness of results
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Warranties regarding data availability from third-party blockchain explorers
  • Warranties that security scores will prevent fraud or financial loss

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties; in such cases, the above exclusions may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHAINEYE.IO AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Financial Losses: Loss of cryptocurrency, fiat currency, or other assets due to reliance on our scores
  • Investment Decisions: Damages resulting from transactions conducted based on Service results
  • Data Inaccuracy: Losses from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated blockchain data
  • Third-Party Actions: Fraudulent activity by wallet owners despite favorable risk scores
  • Service Interruptions: Damages from downtime, data loss, or unavailability
  • Indirect Damages: Consequential, incidental, punitive, or special damages
  • Opportunity Costs: Lost profits, business opportunities, or trading opportunities

MAXIMUM LIABILITY: Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or Service use is limited to the lesser of (a) fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ChainEye.io, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws
  • Your misuse of the Service or our security scores
  • Financial losses resulting from your reliance on Service results
  • Infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Fraudulent or illegal activities conducted using our platform

11. Data Privacy and Security

11.1 Data Collection

We collect and process:

  • Telegram user ID and username
  • Email address for notifications
  • Submitted wallet addresses (stored temporarily)
  • Transaction metadata from public blockchains
  • Usage statistics and service interactions

11.2 Data Retention

  • Wallet Analysis Results: Automatically deleted after 7 days (stored in AWS ElastiCache Redis)
  • Account Information: Retained while account is active
  • Billing Records: Retained for 7 years per tax compliance requirements

11.3 Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • AWS cloud infrastructure with VPC isolation and security groups
  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
  • Secure payment processing via PCI-DSS compliant Stripe
  • CloudWatch monitoring and intrusion detection
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing

12. Intellectual Property Rights

12.1 Our IP

ChainEye.io owns all rights to:

  • Proprietary scoring algorithms and risk assessment methodologies
  • Platform software, source code, and infrastructure
  • Trademarks, logos, and branding elements
  • Documentation, reports, and analysis outputs
  • Database structures and data compilations

12.2 License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Access and use the Service for personal or internal business purposes
  • View and download analysis results for your submitted wallet addresses
  • Use our API (if subscribed to a plan including API access)

12.3 Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of our algorithms or software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices
  • Use our branding without prior written consent

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by You

You may cancel your subscription at any time via:

  • Telegram bot command: /cancel
  • Email request to: billing@chaineye.io
  • Contact form on our website

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No pro-rated refunds for partial months.

13.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

  • Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Fail to pay subscription fees within 7-day grace period
  • Abuse the Service or attempt to compromise security
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service immediately ceases
  • All analysis data is deleted within 7 days
  • Outstanding fees remain due and payable
  • Sections 7-10, 12, 14-16 survive termination

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by:

  • Posting updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date
  • Sending email notification to registered users
  • Displaying in-app notification via Telegram bot

Material changes (affecting pricing, liability, or core service) require 30 days notice. Continued use after notice period constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you must cancel your subscription.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any legal action, you agree to contact legal@chaineye.io and allow 30 days for good-faith negotiation.

15.2 Binding Arbitration

Any disputes not resolved informally shall be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Arbitration shall be conducted in English, governed by U.S. law, and held remotely via videoconference.

15.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE TO RESOLVE DISPUTES INDIVIDUALLY, NOT AS PART OF A CLASS ACTION OR COLLECTIVE PROCEEDING. This waiver applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to conflict of law principles
  • Jurisdiction: Exclusive jurisdiction in [Your State/Country] courts for non-arbitrable claims
  • Language: English language controls in case of translation discrepancies

17. Regulatory Compliance

We comply with applicable regulations including:

  • U.S. Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and FinCEN guidance
  • GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation)
  • CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act)
  • Stripe payment processing standards

We are NOT a Money Services Business (MSB) and do not custody, transmit, or exchange cryptocurrency.

18. Miscellaneous Provisions

18.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ChainEye.io.

18.2 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Invalid provisions shall be modified to achieve maximum enforceability.

18.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right. All waivers must be in writing and signed.

18.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights to any affiliate or successor.

18.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control (acts of God, war, pandemics, government action, blockchain network failures).

ACKNOWLEDGMENT: By using ChainEye.io, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

CRYPTOCURRENCY RISK WARNING: Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible and highly volatile. Never send funds to unverified addresses. Our Service provides risk assessment tools only and does not guarantee safety or legitimacy of any wallet address. Always conduct thorough due diligence before transacting.
